The Power of Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Entrepreneurship is defined as the capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. Innovation is defined as making changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products. Together, entrepreneurship and innovation are two concepts that take creativity, hard work, perseverance, and support.
Often, these concepts are not introduced in the classroom. Many young students believe that entrepreneurship is a concept only open to those in the traditional business world. In reality, many successful entrepreneurs in the world began far from it.
Launchpad's mission is to provide a platform for 8th grade students in Indianapolis to learn and explore entrepreneurship and design thinking while illustrating that future possibilities are limitless.
